Horizon Prep

The mission of Horizon Prep are here to  educate the whole student within a Christian context of spiritual, social, mental and physical development.  The ministry of the Church  exist in order  to help students cultivate a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, to discover and encourage their gifts, and to inspire each student to realize his or her full potential in serving God in spirit and in truth. Christian School San Diego works on educating the children in this effort. Also Private Christian School San Diego works on that.  The framework for their Mission is founded upon what is Biblically described as the Greatest Commandment: “To love God with our Heart (spiritually), our Soul (socially), our Mind (intellectually). Their vision is to prepare a generation of spiritually mature, academically advanced, physically equipped, and socially developed individuals for a life of opportunity and service to the glory of God. The first of all the commandments is  Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this; you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” We find this passage to be the foundation for our philosophy of education and it is an ideal template to provide a Christ centered environment of learning. Every component of each day will challenge the child’s abilities while meeting his or her needs. Through various learning opportunities of enrichment the child will see the value of integrating their faith into each course and subject that is taught, whether in our chapel and scripture memorization program, computer lab, foreign languages, cultural events, field trips, or SSPs. Definitely Christian School Rancho Santa Fe is where I would like to put my child.
